Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Charleston Monday, September 12th , 2050 Many Charleston RiverDogs fans have already turned their attention to next season, and with good reason. Even with a good chunk of the schedule still left to play, the club was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. The RiverDogs have made the playoffs 16 times in their 35 years as a Midwest League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2044.
