More Woes for GreenJackets David Bibian Thursday, September 15th , 2050 GreenJackets left fielder David Bibian has suffered a setback in his rehabilitation for a strained medial collateral ligament. He was expected to finish treatment soon and rejoin the team slightly ahead of schedule. Doctors reevaluated him after he felt severe pain in a recent workout. The preliminary examination revealed more damage and is worse than the first injury. Anonymous sources in Augusta told BNN David Bibian would be absent from the roster quite a bit longer than originally diagnosed. He would now have to miss at least 5 weeks. So far this season, Bibian has recorded a .235 batting average with 78 hits, 4 home runs, 21 RBIs, 43 runs scored and a .339 OBP. |
