Braves Yun Fires No-Hitter Saturday, September 17th , 2050 There was magic on the mound today at Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium as Atlanta (MID) Braves starter Pu-la Yun no-hit the South Bend Cubs. Yun held South Bend hitters spellbound and helpless in a masterful display of pitching, leading the Braves to a 10-0 win. "It was like I was in a dream," Yun said afterward. "The ball just went right where I wanted it to." In his mound masterpiece, Yun rang up 20 strikeouts and issued 5 walks. This season Yun has compiled a 9-3 mark with a 2.37 ERA. |
