Lake County Wins Top Spot in American League Central Division Tuesday, September 20th , 2050 The Lake County Captains have steamrolled their way to their 3rd American League Central Division crown. With a current record of 106-39, Lake County can't be caught and have sewn up the division. The team's celebration was a bit subdued, as the division hadn't really been in any doubt for quite some time. But manager Andrew Korman still said it's a fantastic accomplishment that makes him "extremely proud" of his team. "Now we focus on winning a World Series," he said. "That's obviously the end goal." The club will be vying for its 1st championship. |
