Crawdads, Tetzlaff Stonewall Lake County, 6-0 Saturday, October 29th , 2050 Ken Tetzlaff of the Hickory Crawdads spun his magic on the Lake County Captains today. He blanked them 6-0 on 2 hits, registering 18 strikeouts and no walks. "The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Tetzlaff said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down." Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, Hickory skipper Kennys Vargas said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations." "Ken pitched really well but this was a solid performance by everyone," he said. So far, Tetzlaff has earned no saves in no relief appearances. He has 241 strikeouts and 34 walks in 218 innings while registering a 1.78 ERA and a 20-7 won-lost record. |
