Postseason Bid Ends for San Francisco (WIN) Monday, January 10th , 2050 The San Francisco (WIN) Giants may still need a piece or two before becoming championship material in Winter League Baseball. The team has fallen short of its playoff goals this year, being officially eliminated from the playoffs today. "I feel like we have a great group," Giants manager Fraser Miller said. "We happened to come up short or our goal, though. We'll re-tool and be back stronger next season." This is the club's 7th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2042. In total, the Giants have missed the playoffs 20 times in their 34-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Giants have missed the playoffs 5 times. |
