Cincinnati (WIN) Takes Round 1 in Deciding Game Saturday, January 22nd , 2050 There certainly wasn't much separating the Cincinnati (WIN) Reds and Washington (WIN) Nationals in this year's Round 1. In the end, it was the Reds advancing to the Divisional Series with a 5-4 win at Space Coast Stadium, to cap off a thrilling 2-1 series win. Reds right-hander and series MVP Matt Moffat took a short break from the clubhouse victory celebration to tell BNN reporters that "winning a series in the last game makes it all the more sweet." For the series, Moffat's performance no doubt made things even sweeter. He had a 1.17 ERA over 7.2 innings pitched, with a 1-0 record. The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
