Marlins Heading to World Series Monday, February 7th , 2050 The fans in Miami (WIN) are delirious, while there is little joy to be found in Cincinnati (WIN). The Miami (WIN) Marlins finished off the Cincinnati (WIN) Reds 5-4 in the deciding game of the League Championship played at Ed Smith Stadium. They took the series 4-3 and will now head to the World Series. For his standout play, Miami (WIN) left fielder Mike Gar was voted the series' Most Valuable Player. He batted .290, drove in 6 runs and scored 5 to lead his club to victory. "We could never really figure out how to pitch to Gar and that doomed us," said Reds manager David Hamilton.
