Diamondbacks Pilot Lovell Picked as A's Best Wednesday, March 2nd , 2050 Glenn Lovell stepped before the microphone today and accepted his Division A Manager of the Year award, thanking the whole Arizona (WIN) Diamondbacks organization for making the 2049 season such a success. Lovell struggled to find the right words. "My father was a drill instructor in the military. He taught me that you have to work hard, set goals and accept responsibility for your actions. That's what the entire Arizona (WIN) organization did this year. My dedicated owner, coaching staff, hard-working and talented players and loyal front office all made this award possible. I thank them for it." And what a year it was. Lovell sparked the Diamondbacks to a 27-15 record and a first in the Division A standings. |
