2049 Pitcher of the Year Award Winner Announced Thursday, March 3rd , 2050 The Oakland (WIN) Athletics have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Kevin Clark, this year's Division A Pitcher of the Year Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Clark compiled a 4-2 record in 9 starts, tallied 88 strikeouts in 61.2 innings and recorded a 1.17 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .155 batting average against him. He received 18 first place votes out of a possible 30. Jason St. Clair of the Cincinnati (WIN) Reds finished second in voting with 11 first place votes, while Jeff Swomley of the Milwaukee (WIN) Brewers finished third.
