Wong Guns Downs 15 Cubs Thursday, December 1st , 2050 Led by an outstanding performance from starter Chong-yeol Wong, the San Francisco (WIN) Giants topped the Chicago (WIN) Cubs today by a score of 4-2 at Scottsdale Stadium. The 26-year-old Wong brought his top game to the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing 7 hits and giving up no walks. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Cubs manager Jake Bauers said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." |
