The 24-year-old Tumbleson brought his top game to the mound, striking out 15 batters while allowing 2 hits and giving up 2 walks. "He made a lot of good pitches out there," Cubs manager Jake Bauers said. "He made some of our guys look bad. We didn't help matters, but we really have to give him credit -- he didn't make many mistakes." |
