Padres Cho Strikes out 15 Thursday, December 22nd , 2050 Dae-Jung Cho of the San Diego (WIN) Padres put on a pitching clinic today at Peoria Sports Complex as he struck out 15 Tampa Bay (WIN) Rays in a 11-0 victory. Cho, who leads the A in wins with 3, was simply magnificent as he held the Rays to 1 hit. He walked 4. "I felt okay at the beginning," Cho said, "but eventually my changeup really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Cho's performance, Padres manager Itsuo Yoshioka shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating." This year Cho has a 3-1 record and a 2.88 ERA. |
