Minnesota (WIN) Takes Round 1 in Deciding Game Friday, January 24th , 2048 The Minnesota (WIN) Twins are off to the Divisional Series after an exciting Round 1 triumph. Minnesota (WIN) downed the Chicago (WIN) White Sox, but needed the entire series to do so, with a 3-2 win tonight at Camelback Ranch wrapping up the series 2-1. "It's every guy in this room that made this happen. Without us all pulling in the same direction, we don't win this series," said Ian Thompson, who earned MVP honors for a standout offensive series. Thompson put up a .385 with a .385 on-base percentage in the series. He also had 2 home runs, drove in 2 runs and scored 2 runs himself. The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
