Steedman on Fire, Strikes out 17 Twins Tuesday, December 21st , 2049 Kalaida Steedman of the Oakland (WIN) Athletics put on a pitching clinic today at Papago Park Sports Facility as he struck out 17 Minnesota (WIN) Twins in a 17-0 victory. Steedman was simply magnificent as he held the Twins to 1 hit. He walked 1. "I felt okay at the beginning," Steedman said, "but eventually my fastball really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Steedman's performance, Athletics manager Joel Baker shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating." |
