Castillo and Woodard Brawl, League Suspends Them Saturday, September 3rd , 2050 Juan Castillo of the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs and Nate Woodard of the Windy City ThunderBolts will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 2 and 7 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Blue Crabs-ThunderBolts game at The Aquarium. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Castillo and Woodard will begin serving them soon. On the season, Castillo is batting .151 with 5 home runs and 11 RBIs. He has played in 90 games. This year Woodard has fanned 176 in 127.2 innings and collected a 9-6 record with a 2.75 ERA. |
