Palm Beach Nationals Mathematically Out of Playoffs Sunday, September 18th , 2050 Jim O'Sullivan said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Palm Beach Nationals after they missed the Pioneer Baseball League playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. Palm Beach last appeared in the postseason in 2042. This is their 8th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 22 times in their 29-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Nationals have made the playoffs 3 times. |
