Kileona Cracks 3 HR for ThunderBolts Sunday, September 18th , 2050 Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's ThunderBolts-Rox game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball. Windy City catcher Pakiana Kileona thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Windy City to a 14-3 win over Brockton. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Kileona said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Kileona was 3-for-5 on the day with 5 runs batted in. Pakiana Kileona grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Sean Ney in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Danny Diaz in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Vance Haynes in the 8th. Looking at his season stats, Kileona has compiled a .250 batting average and a .391 on-base percentage, while hitting 5 home runs and driving in 12 runs. |
