Season Ends for Linkletter Monday, September 26th , 2050 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Portland's Nick Linkletter to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 09/22/2050 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Linkletter said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Linkletter has been out of action since he suffered a torn labrum. This year his season stats show Linkletter has no saves in no relief appearances with a 2-17 record and 4.85 ERA. |
