Majors Pitching Ravaged by Schuettler
Sunday, October 9th , 2050
It seemed Paris Cubs first baseman Tyler Schuettler could do no wrong today, but it still didn't come out right.
The Cubs fell against the London Majors by the score of 5-1. Schuettler did all he could, rapping out 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but in the end, London prevailed at Paris Baseball Complex.
"I felt real good today, but my best just wasn't enough," Schuettler said in the postgame interview. "We didn't play well enough to win. I saw the ball well and put the ball in play well, and they fell in for base hits. Some days they do that."
Tyler Schuettler singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
This season in 129 games Schuettler is batting .299 with 24 home runs, 66 RBIs and has scored 70 times.
