Knox Pops 3 Out of the Park Against Angels Tuesday, October 11th , 2050 In a powerful performance that left the fans at Oregon Baseball Complex buzzing, Roswell Invaders right fielder John Knox blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 8-0 win over the Portland Angels. "Everything was clicking," Knox told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them." Knox shined brilliantly in the win, with 4 hits in 4 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored. "It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Invaders manager Luis Balderas said. "John played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game." John Knox hit a two-run home run off Jim Roney in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Roney in the 4th, walked in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Benjie Dalaque in the 8th. This season Knox is batting .199 with 84 hits, 45 home runs, 72 RBIs, 39 walks, .286 OBP and has scored 76 runs. He has played in 126 games. |
