Flames Cruise to Quarter-Finals with Sweep Wednesday, October 19th , 2050 It's a sweet sweep for the Calgary Flames and they have won the Round 1. The Roswell Invaders were not able to keep pace with the Flames and dropped the series in short order, losing 7-3 in the deciding game. "This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Roswell manager Luis Balderas. It's now on to the Quarter-Finals for Calgary after their 4-0 series win. Leading the way for the winners was center fielder Li-zhu Song, who was named MVP. For the series, Song hit .312 with a .389 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 3 runs.
