Round 1 Goes the Distance, Canton Prevails

In what will no doubt go down as a classic Pioneer Baseball League series for both clubs, the Canton Indians prevailed over the Brockton Rox in the Round 1 today.
With the ups and downs of the series thrilling fans on both sides, Canton won the final game by a score of 1-0 and took the series 4-3.
"In the end, it's our fans who went home happy, but a series like this is good for all fans and for everyone in baseball," said Canton starting pitcher Milorad Telacevic, who earned series MVP honors.
Telacevic posted a 0.00 ERA on the series, throwing 14.2 innings and posting a 2-0 record.
The Quarter-Finals matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
