Quarter-Finals Goes the Distance, London Prevails Tuesday, November 1st , 2050 Pioneer Baseball League fans definitely got the battle they bargained for in this year's Quarter-Finals. The London Majors have eliminated the Canton Indians in the final game, by a score of 1-0, to advance to the Semi-Finals. Mike Swainston was named series MVP and said he and his teammates are "fortunate and excited to have beaten a quality team like Canton." For the series, Swainston had a 0.00 ERA over 13.1 innings pitched, with a 2-0 record. The Semi-Finals matchups and schedule will be announced after the Quarter-Finals finishes. |
