Avalanche Move on to World Series Thursday, November 10th , 2050 The Colorado Avalanche have eliminated the Kelowna Heat and are off to the World Series. Colorado won the final game by a 1-0 score and thus clinched the series 4-2. "We think this is our year, but we're taking it one game at a time," said Ollie Strauss, who was named series MVP. For the series, Strauss hit .333 with a .440 on-base percentage. He drove in 5 RBI and scored 5 runs. The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Semi-Finals finishes. |
