Trevino Named Top Reliever for WL Sunday, November 27th , 2050 At the young age of only 20, Dave Trevino has been named the Western League Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2050. The future appears bright for the Kelowna Heat relief ace, who captured the award with 40 saves in 57 relief appearances, 82 strikeouts in 63.2 innings and a record of 5-1 to go with his 1.27 ERA. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Chee-hwa Thean of the Miami Beach Marlins finished second in voting, while Corey Foster of the Kelowna Heat finished third.
