Trojans Win Quarter-Finals Sunday, January 30th , 2050 It took a while, but the University of Southern California Trojans finally disposed of the University of Conneticut Huskies 1-0 in the series clincher at J. O. Christian Field. Winning the finale gave the Trojans the series, 2-1. They will now advance to the Semi-Final. The Most Valuable Player Award went to University of Southern California second baseman Ryan Springer. He batted .417 in the series, collecting 3 RBIs and scoring 1 runs. The University of Southern California Trojans will play against the Mississippi State University Bulldogs in the next round. Mississippi State University won their series against the Louisiana State University Tigers 2 games to 1. The Semi-Final schedule will be announced after the Quarter-Finals finishes. |
