Bulldogs Advance to World Series Monday, February 7th , 2050 In an exciting Semi-Final that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is Origination fans who have come out the winner. But on the field, the winners were the Mississippi State University Bulldogs, who edged the University of Southern California Trojans 3-2 to advance to the World Series. Mississippi State University won the final game by a 6-1 count to wrap up the series. Tom Ploughman earned series MVP honors, by hitting .600 with a .667 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Mississippi State University Bulldogs will play against the University of Florida Gators in the next round. University of Florida won their series against the Arizona State University Sun Devils 3 games to 2. The World Series schedule will be announced after the Semi-Final finishes. |
