5-for-5 Day for Pack Tuesday, September 6th , 2050 All game long, University of Maine's Seung Pack was rattling the walls at Mark Light Field at Alex Rodriguez Park and banging out base hits against the Hamilton Ross Rams. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Black Bears had a 8-0 victory. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 14-year-old left fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Seung Pack singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Wakina Olopoto in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Pack is hitting .426 so far this season with 13 RBIs and 8 runs scored. He has 23 hits including 5 home runs, 1 walk and .436 OBP. |
