Trojans Sauer Named SL2's Best Pitcher Tuesday, November 1st , 2050 When Bartholomous Sauer takes the mound, a University of Southern California victory is usually the result. At least that's the way it was in October. He excelled with a 4-0 mark and a 1.55 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 29 innings, fanned 38 and held opposing batters to a .143 average. That's why the Trojans starter was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the Sub League 2. This season Sauer has worked 71 innings with 80 strikeouts en route to a 4-3 record and a 1.90 ERA. |
