Luckwell Wins ORI Honor Monday, November 14th , 2050 There was no one hotter in the Division 1 last week as Gary Luckwell attacked enemy pitching with a vengeance to collect the Player of the Week Award. The 18-year-old University of Nebraska second baseman batted .591 with 13 hits in 22 at-bats, 2 home runs and 5 RBIs. This season Luckwell has banged out 87 hits in 248 at-bats for a .351 average with 13 home runs. He is getting on base at a .408 pace and his totals also include 40 RBIs and 52 runs scored. |
