Huskies Starter Wins SL2 Pitching Award Thursday, December 1st , 2050 The hottest hurler in the Sub League 2 last month was Jose Rios of the University of Conneticut Huskies. He caught the attention of everybody in the league with some eye-catching stats, good enough to win the SL2 Pitcher of the Month. In November, Rios starred with an impressive 3-0 record. In 5 starts he gave up 8 base hits and struck out 42 in 29.2 innings with a 0.30 ERA. Up to now Rios has recorded a record of 6-4. In 16 starts he has fanned 113 batters in 83 innings with a 1.63 ERA. |
