Red-Hot Rampage Reaps ORI Reward Monday, December 12th , 2050 15-year-old Rob Rogers sent shock waves through Origination last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Division 1 Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Rogers made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .579 average, 11 hits in 19 at-bats, 3 home runs and 5 runs batted in. Where the University of Maine Black Bears right fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Rogers certainly made his mark last week. This season Rogers is batting at a .255 clip with 16 home runs and 46 RBIs. |
