University of Georgia First Baseman Picked ORI Player of the Week Monday, December 26th , 2050 15-year-old Jon Moore sent shock waves through Origination last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Division 1 Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Moore made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .400 average, 10 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs and 7 runs batted in. Where the University of Georgia Bulldogs first baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Moore certainly made his mark last week. This year Moore is batting .269 with 108 hits, 13 home runs, 45 RBIs, 31 walks, .330 OBP and has scored 45 runs. |
