Great Stroke: Nicol Gets 5 Hits
Andrew Nicol put on a hitting clinic today as the Elizabethton Twins dumped the Greeneville Astros 28-2 at Pioneer Park.

The Elizabethton second baseman made Greeneville defenders earn their pay, lashing Greeneville pitching for 5 hits in 8 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Nicol said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Andrew Nicol struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 7th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jaquan Alston in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
