Belton 6-for-6 Against Astros
There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 6 hits in a day.

Alex Belton is one of those rare few, as he went 6-for-6 against the Greeneville Astros at Pioneer Park today. The monster effort from the 23-year-old shortstop helped the Elizabethton Twins take the win, 38-10.

"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Astros manager Chris Beckerman. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today."

Alex Belton walked in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off James Browning in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Mark Sanders in the 7th, walked in the 7th, singled in the 8th and walked in the 9th.

So far this season Belton is hitting .339 with 3 home runs, 18 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has 19 hits in 56 at-bats and a .464 OBP.
