Morales Strokes 3 HR Against Ogden Monday, October 17th , 2044 Whatever Willis Morales ate for breakfast before his game against the Ogden Raptors today, it gave him some impressive power. The Grand Junction shortstop smacked three balls up and out of the park at Suplizio Field. His home run barrage led the Rockies to take the 35-2 victory over the Raptors. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 5-for-7, scored 6 times, drove in 6 and put on a display that history will remember. Willis Morales hit a two-run home run off Ian Wilson in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Charles Durand in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Justin Donovan in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. For the season Morales is hitting .348, batted in 91 runs with 22 home runs and 121 runs scored. |
