Hits Galore: Jones Drills 5 Hits Tuesday, October 18th , 2044 Josh Jones was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at Hunter Wright Stadium, the Kingsport second baseman blistered the Johnson City Cardinals for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a 9-5 victory. "Jones was too tough to get out today," Cardinals skipper Julio Rivero said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Josh Jones doubled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, tripled in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. Jones on the season is hitting .374 with 5 home runs.
