Wright Keeps Hit Streak Alive Monday, October 24th , 2044 Craig Wright ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games today at Las Américas Complex, when he collected 2 hits in 5 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Helena Brewers dropped the game, 6-5, to the Washington (APP) Nationals. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Wright said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Craig Wright struck out in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. This season Wright is batting .428 with 188 hits, 11 home runs, 122 RBIs, .498 OBP and has scored 118 runs. |
