NL's Top Hitter Announced Tuesday, November 1st , 2044 When Zack Guillen stepped up to the plate in October he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the National League Batter of the Month award. The young Grand Junction left fielder posted a .485 batting average with 17 home runs, 45 RBIs and scored 41 runs. Guillen also worked pitchers for 21 walks to post a .614 on-base percentage. This year Guillen is hitting .401 with 146 hits, 62 home runs, 183 RBIs and has scored 159 runs. |
