3-HR Day for Yerger
Wednesday, November 2nd , 2044
Baltimore (APP) Orioles bombardier Kaleb Yerger set his sights on the stands and blasted three balls over the fence as his club took a 9-3 win over the Great Falls Voyagers today.
"I guess you could say I was a good guesser today, especially on the last one," Yerger told writers in the postgame press room. "I was ahead in the count, so I gambled that I'd get a certain pitch, and got all of it."
For the game, the Baltimore (APP) left fielder had 4 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 6, and scored 3 runs.
Kaleb Yerger doubled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Phil Peterson in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Silas Chartier in the 9th and hit a three-run home run off Evan Boyd in the 10th.
So far this year, Yerger is batting .292 with 22 home runs and 74 RBIs.
