Week's Premier Performer Honored by DIV I Monday, October 31st , 2044 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Dvision 1, but last week Carlos Carrillo of the University of South Carolina Gamecocks reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Carrillo rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (9-for-18), 2 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. Carrillo is hitting .380 for the season with 7 home runs, 25 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 38 hits in 100 at-bats and played in 33 games. |
