Great Week for Wichita State University's Sam Williams Monday, November 28th , 2044 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Division 2, but last week Sam Williams of the Wichita State University Shockers reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Williams rocked opposing pitching for a .318 average (7-for-22), 4 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. So far in 2044 Williams is batting .331 with 28 home runs, 56 RBIs and 64 runs scored. He has 99 hits in 299 at-bats and a .437 OBP. |
