Asch's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Wednesday, December 7th , 2044 Josh Asch has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Stanford University catcher picked up 2 more today against the Vanderbilt University Commodores and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Cardinal won the game 2-0. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Josh Asch flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th and singled in the 6th. Asch is hitting .286 this year with 11 home runs and 31 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .364, 26 walks and scored 33 times. |
