Mejicanos Week's Top Player Monday, December 12th , 2044 18-year-old Ricky Mejicanos sent shock waves through Evolution last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Dvision 1 Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Mejicanos made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .381 average, 8 hits in 21 at-bats, 3 home runs and 6 runs batted in. Where the Stanford University Cardinal left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Mejicanos certainly made his mark last week. This season Mejicanos is batting .271 with 7 home runs. |
