Week's Premier Performer Honored by DIV II Monday, December 12th , 2044 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Division 2, but last week Josh Aerni of the Washington State University Cougars reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Aerni rocked opposing pitching for a .423 average (11-for-26), 4 home runs and 13 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Aerni is hitting .311 with 20 home runs and 73 RBIs in 94 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .385 with 36 walks and 59 runs scored. |
