Saenz Unhittable in Perfect Game
Even as he reached the pinnacle of baseball achievement, Jose Saenz never broke a sweat.

The 29-year-old right-hander pitched a perfect game at Herschel Greer Stadium today for the Buffalo Bisons, retiring 27 in a row.

"I still don't believe it," Jose Saenz told reporters inside the Bisons locker room, following the win. "Throwing a perfect game just doesn't seem real."

Saenz was a picture of calm on the mound as he struck out 8 Nashville hitters and walked none as the Bisons took the 1-0 victory.

"I had the best control of my life today and it felt almost effortless," Saenz said with a smile. "I never knew throwing a perfect game would be so easy."
