McKinney Fans 15 Naturals
|
Aaron McKinney of the Trenton Thunder put on a pitching clinic today at Arm & Hammer Park as he struck out 15 Northwest Arkansas Naturals in a 16-0 victory. McKinney was simply magnificent as he held the Naturals to 2 hits. He walked 1.
"I felt okay at the beginning," McKinney said, "but eventually my fastball really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game."
When asked about McKinney's performance, Thunder manager Taylor Guerrieri shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating."
So far this year McKinney has a 2-4 record with a 4.91 ERA.
