Padilla Belts Bunch of Base Hits

Hector Padilla said "it felt like taking batting practice" today at Whataburger Field, and it showed in the box score. The Birmingham second baseman had a fantastic 5-for-6 day against the Corpus Christi Hooks, leading his club to victory, 36-0.
"I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Padilla said later."
Hector Padilla singled in the 1st, walked in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Aaron Gilmore in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Isaiah McLaurin in the 8th.
Padilla is batting .260 with 11 home runs and 53 RBIs this season.
