Mooney Tosses 12-0 Shutout Saturday, June 24th , 2045 The Las Vegas 51s struggled at the plate today against Redbirds hurler Geoff Mooney, who shackled them on 3 hits while hurling a complete game 12-0 shutout. "What can you say? We didn't hit well," said 51s skipper Francisco Pena in postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow." Mooney finished the game with 6 strikeouts and 1 walk in an excellent mound performance. "He pitched real well," Memphis manager Matt Macri said. "Geoff made pitches when he had to.
